You will also need to consult the installation manual that comes with the system, or download it from here.
The installation steps are as follows:
Measure your forestay length and diameter, and check if you need any optional link plates or internal turnbuckle fitting to adapt the system to your forestay terminal.
Remove your old headsail and halyard from your forestay.
Assemble the drum on your forestay terminal, using the appropriate pin and nut. Make sure the drum is fixed and not removable.
Assemble the swivel on your halyard shackle, using the appropriate pin and nut. Make sure the swivel can rotate freely.
Assemble the foil sections on your forestay, starting from the bottom one. Use the connectors and torx screws to join them together. Apply some grease on the connectors before inserting them into the foil sections. Use some Loctite on the torx screws before tightening them.
Cut the excess foil section at the top of your forestay, using a hacksaw. File the cut edge smooth.
Install the telescopic section on top of the last foil section, using a connector and torx screws. Adjust its length to match your forestay length.
Install the top cap on top of the telescopic section, using a connector and torx screws.
Install the deflector wheel on your masthead, using a drill and screws. Make sure it is aligned with your halyard exit.
Hoist the swivel up to your masthead, using your halyard. Make sure it passes through the deflector wheel.
Install the sail feeder on your foil section, using a drill and screws. Make sure it is aligned with your headsail tack.
Bend your headsail luff tape into a U-shape, and insert it into the sail feeder. Hoist your headsail up along the foil section, using your halyard.
Attach your headsail tack to your drum tack fitting, using a shackle or a snap hook.
Attach your headsail clew to your drum clew fitting, using a shackle or a snap hook.
Tension your halyard and forestay according to your rigging specifications.
If you have purchased the optional furling line kit with fairleads, install them on your stanchions or deck fittings according to your cockpit layout. Make sure they are aligned with your drum line exit.
Thread your furling line through your fairleads and around your drum. Tie a stopper knot at ec8f644aee
